Ability by Acierto Names Robert Morales VP of Operations to Oversee Waterfront Condo Project Bijou Bay Harbor

Ability by Acierto has named luxury real estate veteran Robert Morales vice president of operations. Morales will guide day-to-day project management for Bijou Bay Harbor, the company’s planned luxury waterfront development in Bay Harbor Islands. Morales will head all project development and coordinate efforts with the sales and development teams at the boutique-style condo on East Bay Harbor Drive.

Morales has almost a decade’s experience specializing in the Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles and South Beach luxury real estate markets. His sales numbers have been heralded in the industry. As a senior sales executive, Morales helped sell more than 70 percent of remaining condo-hotel inventory at One Bal Harbour, amounting to $30 million in property in 11 months. His success earned Morales the distinction of Top Producer of the Year – and the respect of both peers and clients, who include celebrities and Fortune 500 executives.

Bijou Bay Harbor will feature 41 private residences, including five penthouses, ranging from 900 to just over 2,000 square feet. With sales underway at the 2,000-square-foot sales center, prices range from the mid-$600,000s to $1.9 million for the penthouses. Construction is slated to begin in early 2016.

In February 2015, Ability by Acierto acquired the prime parcel for $8.5 million. The planned nine-story building from architects Luis Revuelta and Charles H. Benson and designer Adriana Hoyos will offer casual luxury for young professionals and buyers from the U.S., Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.

Bijou Bay Harbor is the first South Florida development project from Ability by Acierto. The venture is a partnership between Conexo Inmobiliario, led by Andres Arias, and Acierto Inmobiliario, Colombia’s second largest developer. Headed by Juan Carlos Gonzalez, Acierto Inmobiliario has developed dozens of premier residential and commercial projects and millions of square feet of space across Colombia. Two marquee Medellín developments include Access Point, an exclusive four-tower office project, and Milla De Oro, an exclusive mixed-use project with office, retail and restaurants featuring the first Starbucks and Krispy Kreme in Medellín.

With Ability by Acierto’s success of its debut project Bijou Bay Harbor, the company is seeking to expand its development portfolio. Morales added that as the market continues to shift, Ability by Acierto is actively looking for investment opportunities in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
